Whirlpool Jet Boats in Niagara are AWESOME!

The administrators of Niagara.ca enjoyed a wonderful day in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

And, the highlight of our trip to NOTL was the Jet Boat Niagara Adventure!

Our 7pm departure on this hour long adventure began at the docks at the bottom of Melville Street in NOTL.

There were four in our group, and only one person had the foresight to bring a change of clothes.

WET! WET! WET!

Life Preservers, Sweaters, Rain Coats (with Hoods), and even Shoe Booties are all provided at no charge. But, even with all this gear, everyone on the Jet Boat gets absolutely drenched! There are no exceptions.

Before departure, you pick where you want to sit. The front Power Rows are the bumpiest, and the seats on the sides are supposed to be the wettest, but it doesnt matter where you sit.

You are guaranteed to get wet!

Captain John!

Our skilled pilot was Captain John. He knew where to navigate the Jet Boat to ensure maximum waves and extreme fun.

Jet-boating the Niagara River is an incredible experience, and the rapids are fantastic.

Everyone loved the Hamilton 360 Turns (named after the manufacturer of the Hamilton Jet Engines).

And, of course the White Water Rapids were a blast!

An Avalanche of Water!

It was a surprise to feel how warm the water is, when it slaps you in the face. As you experience rapids and waves such as Flash Flood and Big Kahuna, be prepared for an avalanche of water to come over the side of the Jet Boat, and soak everyone on-board!

Hold Your Breath!

When the water hits, be sure to hold your breath!

Hundreds of gallons of water come crashing down on you, and an open mouth, or poorly timed inhale will give you the full sensation of the power and magnitude of the roaring waves.

The folks at Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours even take pictures of your Jet Boat Adventure. During Boarding, a photo is taken of your private group. Also, when the Jet Boat is navigating the whitewater of Devils Hole Rapids, a great action shot is captured.
