Nightmares is an extremely popular Niagara Falls “walk through” attraction that takes about fifteen minutes for visitors to walk through. Guests walk the dreaded corridors (guided by red lights) and contemplate the mysterious legend that the building was once the site of the Cataract Coffin Factory.

Proprietor Abraham Mortimer dedicated every waking hour to surveying the progress of his domain. But, every night, Abraham was tormented by young hooligans. They taunted poor Abraham, until he could take it no more…
Instead of just chasing the riff-raff away, for their mischievous and thoughtless pranks, Abraham decided to get even! They always laughed at his threats…
Then, one fateful night,…
Abraham confronted the rowdy group of young thugs. In the ensuing struggle, a stack of solid oak coffins overturned, and… Legend has it… the Cataract Coffin Factory proprietor was crushed to death. The guilty group of hooligans ran off, and they were never caught for the gruesome murder of Abraham Mortimer.
Soon after the Funeral
Abraham Mortimer’s coffin, from his very own coffin factory, was found unearthed and empty!
To this day, it is said that Abraham Mortimer never rests. He continuously stalks the halls of his beloved and now abandoned factory. Abraham waits for any who dare to enter, and then he seeks his horrible and terrifying revenge.
